Read to Kids

I read this funny satire called 7 Things Good Parents Do That Screw Kids Up For Life on cracked.com. There's some foul language, so if that bothers you then you've had fair warning. I liked number 7 about "educational videos". It's funny because I like educational videos. Not Baby Einstein, though we almost bought a set at Costco when Ethan was little. That desire was short-lived. We saw the error of being sucked into good marketing. I do like Little Einsteins, most all the shows on PBS, and a couple others on Nickelodeon and Disney, which we would only watch when we went to my parents' house. Anyway, even though I like some educational videos I'm glad I know the value of cuddling, laughing, and interacting with while reading to my kids.
