Pushing the Limits

The boys decided to get adventurous just outside our door.  We currently live on a corner at the bottom of a hill.  It's kind of scary to watch them.  The scooters vibrate side to side quickly as they pick up speed.  So far no crashes.

I remember in 4th grade riding my Missile skateboard down Lantana Dr. on my way to school.  About halfway down I abandoned ship.  My feet couldn't keep up and I skidded to a stop using my chin, hands, elbows, and knees.  A friend lived at the bottom of this hill.  His mom bandaged me up and I made it to school.  I remember sitting in class feeling like a fool.  Though now I know figuring out your limits is an essential part of life, so I try not to worry too much.
