I'm going to miss the Columbia River, living a couple blocks from work and around the corner from church, many good people, being about 4 hours from home/parents, and my pond. Yes, my pond. I really love tinkering with it. I started the pond project a little over a year ago. And just the other day we went rock hunting in order to fix some problematic areas within the pond's edge and I finished the "tadpole pond" (there are no tadpoles). I will miss the kid's spontaneous play with the pond. I think I just might have to build a pond when we get into our own place in Wyoming.
